| The car you'll learn in is a
Ford Fiesta Turbo Diesel, fitted with dual
controls it has good all round vision, power steering and air
conditioning, it makes your learning environment enjoyable and safe. One of my students, Lisa, had this to say about the Fiesta: 'I like the position and feel of the gear stick, it's really positive; the clutch is nice and soft and the 1400 engine is powerful enough to get you up to speed but not so powerful that the smallest squeeze on the gas pedal sends you shooting off! Also, being a diesel, it has a very low 'carbon footprint' so you will cause minimum damage to the environment while you learn to drive! |
